D&AD / Microsoft Internet Explorer

We had to come up with a campaign for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9. The challenge was to remind a tech-savvy audience of what a rich and exciting place the Internet is and then inspire them to get out of their ‘webrut’ and go exploring by using Internet Explorer 9.

We created “Webmiles”, like Skymiles for the internet. The concept behind webmiles is very simple. The more you explore and surf the web, the more webmiles you accumulate. The more webmiles you accumulate, the more chance you have of winning Microsoft products and online store coupons. At the end of the campaign, the best internet explorer wins free internet for life.
